The Fair PLay Room

Also known as the Old Fair Play Room not because its old but because this is our history room of the way life was Men were Men and women packed pistol, knife and carried a gun and a picture hangs to prove it. We collected pictures and things from old-timers and our county historical museum. Brother-in-law Dennis unearthed a cache of Post-Gold Rush bottles and built two display cases which hang on the walls. The room has the look and feel of an elegant Gold Rush hotel room.

But behind the look is all the modern amenities like flushing toilet, pedestal sink and clawfoot tub. And this clawfoot tub has a shower ring around for a stand-up shower.

Like the other rooms the window seat is the perfect place for reading or napping. The fireplace adds a comforting glow for those chilly winter nights.

Your balcony looks out to the High Sierra, where Pyramid Peak reigns supreme. This Eastern look is where you'll enjoy both the Sun and the moon rising above the tree-studded horizon.

As a courtesy please note that this room is directly above the breakfast table and may have conversation by 8am and sometimes become a focal point of conversation in the evenings. Either come join in the conversation or know it won't continue past bedtime hours.
