Fitzpatrick Winery & Lodge has been supportive of many causes over our three decades. And will continue to be. However please realize that we are solicited  almost once a day for donations for which most are very worthy causes. However considering our small family size operation we are unable to support everything.

It's not just the substance of the cause that steers are decision one way or another. The proximity, preferably within El Dorado County, matters figuring that if each us contributes locally and there's wineries everywhere all will be taken care of.

Wine tastings may sometimes have mutual benefit to allow us to support a cause and gain publicity. We will evaluate those potential benefits on a case by case basis. But we have unique limitations being both a winery and a bed and breakfast which demands our complete attention and doesn't allow us the same freedom to roam about.

So yes we've always donated way beyond our means but understand we do have limitations.

As an alternative to outright donations, special discounts may be in order when your organization would like to create a mutually beneficial opportunity in real promotional exposure for Fitzpatrick wines while enjoying profits derived in the sale or auction of our products.
