Aghaboe Graigue Country House

Aghaboe Graigue Country House: Nestled in the center of the Irish Midlands, at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains of Finn MacCool lies the early eighteenth Georgian Country House once home to famous Irish antiquarian Edward Ledwich.
Aghaboe Graigue is located in central Ireland and is convenient to many activities and points of historical interest. The house is located about midway between Dublin and Limerick and less then three miles from the N7. The medieval city of Kilkenny lies slightly more than twenty miles to the south.
Activities include golf, equestrian, hunting, shooting, fishing, hill walking, boating and touring the many market towns and historic sites in the area.
The house consists of three bedrooms with bath ensuite, two large sitting rooms and a large traditional kitchen. The house comes fully stocked with all linen and utensils.
The house may be rented for a week or a weekend. The large sitting rooms allow for a gathering of a complete family. There are other lodging facilities in the area for larger groups who want to use the house as both lodging and a base for the gathering.
The house is currently undergoing renovation and will be available for let in the late spring of 2005. Rates will be competitive and quoted in stable United States dollars regardless of the vacillation of the Euro.
